The Meteor Pro operates using the Meshtastic firmware.
Because TheMeshtastic is an active open-source project, the firmware evolveevolves quicklyrapidly.
It andis westrongly recommandedrecommended to follow firmware versions developmentdevelopments and updatekeep your radiodevice frequentlyupdated usingwith the latest stable version.release to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

FlashingUpdating the Meshtastic firmware on your Meteor Pro

Before flashingstarting, amake new firmware, bewaresure that your Meteor Pro needs to stayremains connected during the entire flashing process. Ifprocess.

    Step-by-step procedure:

    1. Connect your Meteor Pro to ayour computer using the includedsupplied USB-C cable.

    2. Open a browser that supportsupports web-serialWeb Serial (such as Chrome, Edge, Opera,or Opera)...)

    3. Go to the official Meshtastic flasherFlasher website website:
      https://flasher.meshtastic.org

      and
    4. select
    5. the Meteor Pro in

      In the device listlist, select Meteor Pro.

    6. Pick

      Choose the lastlatest stable (or Beta) firmware version available.

    7. Click “Flash”version and wait for the process to complete.

    8. Once finished, safely disconnect the device and restart it.


    Important notes

    • Do not disconnect the USB cable or close the browser during flashing.

    • Ensure your computer remains powered and does not enter sleep mode.

    • Only use official Meshtastic firmware or firmware verified by Nomadstar SA.
