Firmware update

The Meteor Pro operates using the Meshtastic firmware. The firmware evolve quickly and we recommanded to follow firmware versions development and update your radio frequently using the latest stable version.

Flashing the Meshtastic firmware on your Meteor Pro

Before flashing a new firmware, beware that your Meteor Pro needs to stay connected during the flashing process. If the radio is disconnected unexpectedly during the firmware update process this might result is some unexpected state and might be hard to recover.

Connect your Meteor Pro to a computer using the included USB-C cable
Open a browser that support web-serial (Chrome, Edge, Opera, ...)
Go to the Meshtastic flasher website https://flasher.meshtastic.org and select the Meteor Pro in the device list
Pick the last stable (Beta) version of the firmware.
Click on "Flash"
